Which passages carry the pattern, and what to do about them.
This breaks a document into sentences, scores each one for stylistic similarity to machine-generated writing, and explains what drove every flag. It then suggests revisions that make the writing clearer and more specific without inventing anything on your behalf.

Sentence-by-sentence
Shading shows how strongly each sentence stands out. Click any sentence for its score, its confidence, and the specific features that moved it. These are probabilistic signals over writing style, none of them establishes that a sentence was machine-written.

Detected patterns
Each of these is a surface measurement with its evidence attached, so you can check it and disagree. Formulaic phrasing and heavy hedging are ordinary features of cautious academic prose; none of them is proof of anything on its own.
Variation across paragraphs
Sentence rhythm and score, paragraph by paragraph. Consistent human writing still varies; a flat line across every measure is itself the signal worth looking at.
Passages unlike their surroundings
Sentences whose style sits far from the rest of this document. That is a question about internal consistency, which is different from and weaker than authorship: quotations, definitions, and deliberate shifts in register all land here legitimately.
Revision assistant
Automatic edits are only ever deletions or splits at boundaries that already existed, and every one is machine-checked before it is shown. Anything that would need new wording is listed as a suggestion for you to write, not filled in.

Before and after
The same analysis re-run on the revised text. Read this as a measure of whether the writing got tighter, not as a score to optimise.
How it works
The page splits your text into individual sentences and rates each one against patterns learned from a large collection of human and machine-written writing.
Sentences that stand out are highlighted where they sit, so you can see which parts of the passage shaped the outcome instead of being handed a single score with no explanation. It also points out places the writing could be tightened, without rewriting anything for you.
Getting a useful result
- Give it a few full paragraphs. Individual sentences are too short to read reliably.
- Paste the passage unedited; cleaning it up first changes the result.
- Read the highlights rather than the headline number. They are the useful part.
- The outcome describes how the writing reads. It is not evidence of who wrote it.
